ABOUT
I’m Axel M’bemba, a footwear and industrial designer with over ten years of experience turning creative ideas into reliable products.
I’ve worked across performance and lifestyle categories, with a strong focus on sustainability and production systems. At Decathlon, I designed durable, mass-market shoes; more recently, I’ve explored 3D printing and bio-based materials to rethink product design.
I see design as a living system that aligns form, material, function, and meaning to create lasting, desirable objects.
Today, I bring solid technical expertise, including materials, concept development, and visual storytelling, matched with a strong commitment to durability and long-term value. I thrive at the intersection of R&D, development, and production teams, turning ideas into reality while working within industrial and economic brand strategies.
Today, I apply my hybrid skill set to projects ranging from footwear production lines to regenerative design, computational technologies, and sustainable manufacturing.

What Drives Me
"Eyes attract images. Images trigger thoughts.
Thoughts link associations.
Associations conjure stories.
Stories create myths.
Myths generate new realities."
