ABOUT
I’m Axel M’bemba, a footwear and industrial designer with over ten years of experience turning creative ideas into reliable products.
I’ve worked across performance and lifestyle categories, with a strong focus on sustainability and production systems. At Decathlon, I designed durable, mass-market shoes; more recently, I’ve explored 3D printing and bio-based materials to rethink product design.
I bring solid technical expertise, including materials, concept development, and visual storytelling, matched with a strong commitment to durability and long-term value. I thrive at the intersection of R&D, development, and production teams, turning ideas into reality while working within industrial and economic brand strategies.
Today, I apply my hybrid skill set to projects ranging from footwear production lines to regenerative design, computational technologies, and sustainable manufacturing.

What Drives Me
I design evolving footwear systems that perform, adapt, and connect.
Shaping what we build today toward a better tomorrow.
