During my learning phase in the field of bio-sourced materials I decided to stage the stools by Eric Klarenbeek by including other mycomaterial based furnitures with the intention of staging what would look a dining room with furnitures entirely designed from recycled and grown materials. Redevelop a certain idea of the future, a possible future where our way of thinking about the goods of consumption, of production, our habits, our relationship with the living are rethought. We are at the beginning of a new revolution, our way of understanding the idea of progress is essential.

During a two days bootcamp organized by Reagent in the biolab of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Brussels working with Elise Elsacker, PhD Researcher, we learn in a first time how to fabricate a mycelium-material hydrogels and experiment with different concentrations then in second time how to 3D print the myco-materials based on our design
The structure is no longer inspired by nature but shaped by itself
